COMELEC ADVISORY

Upon review of the "current" LVIIHRA By-laws (1989), there is no provision disqualifying nominees who are not updated with their monthly dues to run as members of the Board of Directors.  Thus, ALL Top 20 nominees are QUALIFIED to run, unless they decline for other reasons.

We are still in the process of profiling the Official 20 Candidates for the LVIIHRA 2011 Board of Directors.  We will post them soon.

Tabulation of Nominees was a success!

Out of 122 LV II households, 

97 nomination forms were distributed, 

16 were vacant or abroad, 9 were unavailable.

Out of the 97 that were distributed, 

82 casted their ballots which was 84% turn-out.

This shows the willingness of the majority of LV II homeowners and residents to participate. 

 Thank you very much, especially to those who were there to witness the event.

Election 2010 Procedures

I.                    PRE-ELECTION

1.       Lahat ng forms na gagamitin para sa election ay ihahanda, ipapamahagi at kokolektahin ng miyembro ng COMELEC lamang. Lahat ng naunang forms na naipamahagi na ay magsisilbing walang bisa at hindi na gagamitin pa.

2.       Ang criteria of  nominees ay nakasaad sa Official Nomination Form

3.       Kalakip nito ay ang Time Table para sa nalalapit na LVIIHRA Election 2010.

4.       Kung dalawang beses nakasulat ang pangalan ng isang nominado sa Official Nomination form ito ay bibilangin na isang boto lamang.

5.       Lahat ng miyembro ng COMELEC ay hindi maaaring tumakbo sa kahit anong posisyon.

6.     Ang pwesto ng isang nominado ay ayon sa dami ng bilang ng bumoto sa kanya. Kung sakaling ang isang nominado ay umayaw, siya ay dapat sumulat sa COMELEC ng kanyang dahilan ng pag-ayaw bago mag ika-2 ng Disyembre, 2010.

7.      Ang final na listahan ng mga nominado ay ihahayag sa ika-3 ng Disyembre 2010. Ito ay ipapaskil sa Bulletin Board sa may Entrance/Guardhouse at sa gate ng Chapel.

8.    Maaaring mangampanya ang isang nominado mula ika-29 ng Nobyembre 2010 hanggang ika-3 ng Disyembre 2010.

II.                  ELECTION PROPER

1.       Ang LVHRA Election 2010 ay gaganapin sa ika-5 ng Disyembre 2010.

2.      Ang Official Ballots ay ipamamahagi sa ika-4 ng Disyembre 2010 ng mga miyembro ng COMELEC lamang.

3.       Ang pagboto ay magaganap mula 8:30 am hanggang 4:00pm. Maglilibot ang mga miyembro ng COMELEC simula 8:30am. Ang mga residente na napuntahan at hindi pa handa sa kanilang Official Ballot ay dapat na kusang magpunta sa Chapel upang ihulog/ipasa ang kanilang balota.

4.       Ang mga balotang matatanggap pagkatapos ng 4:00pm ay hindi na bibilangin.

III.                POST ELECTION

1.       Lahat ng balota ay sisimulang bilangin ng COMELEC ng 5:00pm ng ika-5 ng Disyembre 2010 sa LV Chapel.

2.       Maaaring ideklara ng COMELEC ang ‘failure of election’ kung hindi aabot sa 50% + 1 ang mga bumoto at ito ay dapat mahanapan ng solusyon ng current LVIIHRA Board of Directors.

3.       Ang mga nanalong kandidato ay iaanunsiyo ng COMELEC ng 6:00pm at ito ay ipapaskil sa Bulletin Board/Guardhouse at sa gate ng LV II Chapel.

4.       Lahat ng reklamo at mga paglilinaw ay tatanggapin ng Chairperson ng COMELEC hanggang ika-6 ng Disyembre 2010 lamang.

Lahat ng mga nakasaad dito ay mahigpit na ipatutupad ng COMELEC.

Dear fellow villager,

Thank you for participating in this year’s village elections.  The LV II COMELEC strives to make it fair, convenient and organized. 

We have decided to nullify the nomination forms that were previously distributed and collected due to the following reasons:

·      The attached list of homeowners & residents was not updated. Some homeowners who    are currently abroad may have been nominated.

·     They did not have appropriate security measures to assure its confidentiality.

·     They were not produced by the COMELEC.

We are encouraging everyone to be vigilant to protect your votes.  Good luck and more power to our  association.
